Oxfam Trailwalker is the largest fundraising hiking event in Hong Kong, where participants are challenged to complete the gruelling 100km MacLehose Trail in 48 hours in teams of four.

As an annual athletic event, it challenges the physical and mental toughness of participants, and nurtures positive characteristics such as perseverance and resilience. This echoes the mission of AIA Vitality to encourage people to live a healthy lifestyle. Our sponsorship also makes the pursuit of health all the more meaningful, and its significance goes well beyond raising funds for Oxfam's efforts in alleviating poverty.
The theme of Oxfam Trailwalker 2016 is “Keep on Trailwalking”. We believe in passing on the spirit of philanthropy and challenging oneself to the next generation. It is imperative that they stay healthy and are willing to give back to the community as they take on the gruelling challenge of Oxfam Trailwalker. This event encourages teamwork and the mutual support of walkers as they take on the strenuous hike. It is also a demonstration of AIA’s brand promise to be “The Real Life Company”, by helping people live healthier, better and happier lives.
