POWER Plus is a plan for small to medium-sized enterprises (SME) with at least three full-time employees. Comprehensive life, accident and hospitalisation protection help your employees cope with medical expenses. You can also choose to include several optional features.

Comprehensive Medical Protection
Basic protection includes life, accident and hospitalisation cover, but you can also add extra benefits like outpatient, Chinese medicine, and supplementary major medical benefits, giving your employees and their families extra peace of mind.
Simple to Set Up
Employees do not need to provide any health information or claim records.
COVER PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS
If an employee has been insured for 12 months continuously, we will also cover all his pre-existing conditions.
FLEXIBLE HOSPITALISATION AND SURGERY BENEFITS
This plan has no minimum hours of confinement in hospital, and also covers outpatient surgery, which is common nowadays.
NO WAITING PERIOD
Employees are covered right after the application is accepted.
EXTENDED PROTECTION BEYOND EMPLOYMENT*
With POWER Plus, your employees (and their family members) can easily convert to an AIA individual medical insurance plan when they retire or end their employment at the age of 65 or younger.
*This benefit is only available to companies with 10 or more full time employees.
Worldwide Emergency Assistance Services
If your employees are involved in a serious sickness or accident abroad, AIA International Assistance Services (AIAS) can arrange emergency medical evacuation or repatriation.
For medically necessary hospitalisation, we provide hospital deposit guarantee or payment of hospital deposit (up to HK$10,000) for your employees when they present the China Assist Card at any of our selected hospitals in mainland China.

Emergency Medical Evacuation
Transportation of the member to an appropriate location for the medically necessary treatment in case of serious sickness or injury while traveling overseas.
This means medical conditions (injury or illness) you already have before your insurance policy becomes effective.
Transportation of mortal remains of the member to his place of residence/origin in case of his death while travelling overseas.
Supplementary Major Medical Benefits
This means increasing your existing cover under the group medical insurance plan.
A period of time set out in the policy which must pass before you are entitled to the covered benefits.

All eligible employees of the company must join the plan.
If the plan includes family protection, all eligible family members of the employees must join the plan.
Number of employees
Your company must have a minimum of three full-time employees.
Age of employees
All full-time employees aged 64 or below must join.
Employees between the age of 65 and 69 are allowed to renew their existing policy, but not to start a new one.
Age of employees’ family members
Spouse: aged 64 or below. Those between the age of 65 and 69 are allowed to renew their existing policy, but not to start a new one.
Unmarried children: from the age of 2 weeks to 18 years; full-time students are eligible up to age 22.
Protection up to age
Employees: protection is valid throughout employment up to the age of 69.
Spouse: 69 years old
Unmarried children: up to the age of 18, or 22 for full-time students.
Overseas hospitalisation benefit shall not apply to Mainland China including Hong Kong and Macau.
For policies that include benefits for employees’ family members, the above mentioned employee benefits are applicable to their family members as well (excluding life insurance benefit and accident insurance benefits).
