HONG KONG, December 14, 2004 - American International Assurance Company (Bermuda) Limited (AIA) today announced the launch of a series of mega programs. Aptly named “Your Dreams Come True with AIA”, the programs aim at helping customers and the underprivileged to realize their lifelong dreams.

Mr. Alwin Lam, Executive Vice President and General Manager of AIA said, “The mega programs which we will launch in 2005 are one of our many ways to reward our customers and the commitments for their continuous support and loyalty over the years. By encouraging participation in the program, we hope we can do our part in helping our customers fulfill their dreams.”

The program will start with the “Coliseum Dream Comes True” Singing Contest, designed to give customers who love to sing, a rare opportunity to experience the excitement of performing at the Hong Kong Coliseum, and to launch their music career. The singing contest will be opened to all policyholders and insured of AIA personal life or accident and health insurance. Five finalists will make their debut of taking the spotlight at the Hong Kong Coliseum and compete for championship. The winner will be offered a chance to perform live on stage with Hong Kong renowned artist Andy Hui at his “Dreams Come True” concert presented by AIA on March 2, 2005, and an audition at a top record company.

Mr. Lam added that the programs will last throughout the year. In addition to the singing contest, AIA will join hands with other prominent organizations to organize many more initiatives including an exploration trip to be jointly organized with National Geographic Channel Asia.

As part of AIA’s commitment to the community, AIA Foundation will join the Home Affairs Bureau of the Hong Kong SAR Government to co-organize a charity program. This will allow 1,000 underprivileged children to enjoy a magical day at the new Hong Kong Disneyland.
