July 19, 2006, Hong Kong – American International Assurance Company (Bermuda) Limited (AIA) has announced the appointment of five senior executives.

Lai Yuen Man has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Claims, Technical Support, Operations Department. Mr. Lai possesses 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. He is responsible for overseeing the claims function for individual life as well as accidental and health businesses. Mr. Lai is a Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) and an Associate, Life and Health Claims (ALHC).

Promoted to Assistant Vice President, Policy Owner Services (POS), Technical Support, Operations Department, Pansy Leung is responsible for managing projects related to the POS system, procedures and guidelines. She has over 17 years of experience in the life insurance industry. Ms. Leung holds a Bachelor Degree in Science from University of Manitoba, Canada. She has achieved the designations of Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) and Associate, Customer Service (ACS).

Rick Lee joined AIA in 2004 as Senior Manager, Investment Linked Operations. He has been promoted to Assistant Vice President. Mr. Lee is responsible for ensuring that efficient and effective operation services are provided for the company's investment-linked business. Mr. Lee has 18 years of solid experience in both banking and fund management. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration.

Anthony Tong has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, MIS Department. He assists the company in overseeing the operation and development of network services and technical support services. Mr. Tong has over 10 years of experience in life insurance industry. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Software Engineering from University of Birmingham, England.

Bill Wong has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Brokerage Services Department. Mr. Wong is responsible for developing business opportunities through the channel of brokers. Mr. Wong possesses 19 years of experience in sales and marketing functions. He is a Registered Financial Planner in the United States and a Certified Financial Consultant.
