AIA Strikes Gold for Fourth Consecutive Time in Reader’s Digest Trusted Brand Awards

– American International Assurance Company (Bermuda) Limited (AIA) announced it has received the Gold Award for both Hong Kong and Asia in Reader's Digest Trusted Brands 2007.

Mr. Derek Yung, Senior Vice President and General Manager of AIA said, "We are very delighted to be an award winner of Reader's Digest Trusted Brands for the fourth consecutive year. Earlier this year, at the Hong Kong Superbrands 2006/2007 Awards, AIA won the Best Overall International Brand for the second consecutive year; and the Brand Award in the Finance Category for the fourth consecutive year.”

Mr. Thomas Lee, Vice President and Assistant General Manager, American International Assurance Company (Bermuda) Limited receives the Gold Trusted Brand Award for Hong Kong from Mr. Simon Cholmeley, Regional Advertising Director of Reader’s Digest Asia.

 

The Reader's Digest Asia Trusted Brands survey is carried out by Nielsen Media Research. Consumers are surveyed through questionnaires and telephone interviews in Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. Survey respondents are asked to name their most trusted brand in each of the 43 product categories, and then to give each brand they name a rating on six qualitative criteria: Trustworthiness, Credible Image, Quality, Value, Understanding of Customer Needs, and Innovation. Brands which score clearly above competitors receive a Gold Award.
