August 21, 2008, Hong Kong – American International Assurance Company (Bermuda) Limited (AIA) today announced the appointment of Ms. Katherine Ho as Assistant Vice President.

In her new role, Ms. Ho is responsible for providing support to the senior management and overseeing the strategic planning and execution of business development initiatives.

Ms. Ho joined AIA in 2000 as a Management Associate. Over the following years, she developed a strong understanding of AIA¡¦s business model and key operations areas through her work in Operations Department and various divisions, including Agency Administration Department, Customer Service Department and Management Support.

Ms. Ho holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto, Canada and has achieved the designation of Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI). She is also a Certified Public Accountant of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA).
