| June 29, 2004 - Hong Kong – American International Assurance Company (Bermuda) Limited (AIA) announced that it has cooperated with the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) to specially design the Executive Leadership Management Program, for AIA’s agency leaders. The program aims to further raise agents’ standard of professional knowledge and skills, and help them to obtain Degree or other qualifications.
AIA believes that people are the most valuable assets of the company. The company first set up its own training facilities and equipment. In addition, the company has proactively explored and offered various channels for their agents to further study. Executive Leadership Management Program is a brand-new credit accumulative training program offered by Management and Executive Development Centre (MEDC) of PolyU. Agency leaders of AIA can enroll in courses at their own choices and pace of study. The whole program contains five main categories which include Insurance & other related Courses, Management Courses, Personal Financial Planning Courses, Marketing Courses, and Communication Skills & Information Technology Courses.
The program recognizes students’ past academic qualifications and professional designations. Credit transfer will be granted to students upon approval. Upon accumulating required credits, students will obtain PolyU SPEED Professional and Continuing Education designations such as Bachelor Degree, Associate Degree, Diploma, and Certificate. The program is available for enrollment in June 2004.
