In light of the global spread of COVID-19, AIA is taking a further step to provide free protection for the community and our customers. From now until 30 June 2020, Hong Kong and Macau citizens (“Non-AIA Customers”) and their children, AIA individual and group insurance customers and their respective insureds / dependants can enjoy free COVID-19 cover*:​

Diagnosis Benefit:
HK$/MOP15,000​
Compassionate Benefit:
HK$/MOP150,000

• Aged 18 or above and​
• Hong Kong or Macau ID cardholders and
• Downloaded and registered as “AIA Connect” users upon registering for this cover.

The coverage period will be from the date received email confirmation on this cover to 30 Jun 2020 ,both days inclusive (“Coverage Period”). Each person can register maximum two children aged below 18.

Quota: 1,000,000. First-come-first-served! ​

Who will receive this free cover automatically and are NOT required to register online?

AIA Hong Kong & Macau individual and group insurance customers (“AIA Customers”), including their respective insureds /insured dependants, who downloaded and registered as "AIA Connect" users . ​

• If they are AIA Customers’ respective insureds / dependants of an individual insurance policy or a group insurance policy, they will receive this free cover together with the AIA Customers (their parents).
• But if they are not one of the above, AIA Customers please download and register as “AIA Connect” users , scroll up to click “Register Now” red button to register maximum two children.

The coverage period will be from 1 April 2020 or the date registered as “AIA Connect“ users (where applicable), whichever is later, to 30 June 2020 ,both days inclusive (“Coverage Period”).
