In light of the global spread of COVID-19, AIA is taking a further step to provide free protection for the community and our customers. From now until 30 September 2020, Hong Kong and Macau citizens, AIA individual and group insurance customers and their respective insureds / insured dependants / children can enjoy free COVID-19 cover*:​

Diagnosis Benefit:
HK$ / MOP15,000​
Compassionate Benefit:
HK$ / MOP150,000

• Aged 18 or above; and
• Hong Kong or Macau ID cardholders and Hong Kong / Macau permanent residents; and
• Enrolled free COVID-19 cover via AIA Connect and completed AIA Connect new user registration.

Upon enrolment, each person can also enrol a maximum of two children aged below 18 together for the free cover.

The coverage period:
The date of enrolment for the free cover until 30 September 2020.

Quota: 1,000,000. First-come-first-served!​

Who will receive this free cover automatically and are NOT required to enrol the free COVID-19 cover online?

AIA Hong Kong and Macau individual and group insurance customers (“AIA Customers”), including their respective insureds / insured dependants, who downloaded and registered as "AIA Connect" users.

• If they are AIA Customers’ respective insureds of an individual insurance policy or insured dependants of a group insurance insured member, they will automatically be eligible for the free cover.
• But if they are not one of the above, AIA Customers please download and register as “AIA Connect” users, scroll up to click “Enrol Now” red button to enrol a maximum of two children.

The coverage period:
6 April 2020 or the date of registration as “AIA Connect” user (where applicable), whichever is later, until 30 September 2020.
