Accept cash and cheque in HKD/USD at branches in Hong Kong

 

Effective 25 June 2018, accept cash in RMB at Wheelock House Branch, Mong Kok Branch, Nathan Road Branch and Causeway Bay Branch. Service hours are from 9:30am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday (Service not available on Saturday, Sunday, Public Holiday and after 3:00pm from Monday to Friday).

Accept cash and cheque in USD/RMB at branches in Hong Kong.

• You can settle payment for up to 3 policies at a time at Citibank.
• Cash payment per transaction at Citibank is limited to a minimum of RMB20,000 ; and a maximum of HKD120,000,USD15,000 or RMB100,000.
• Citibank only accepts a denomination of RMB 50 and 100 notes.
• Citibank only distributes a denomination of RMB 50 and 100 notes as change.
• Cash payment per transaction at BOC is limited to a minimum of USD3,000 or RMB20,000 ; and a maximum of USD15,000 or RMB100,000.
• This is applicable for premium payment and AIA Vitality membership fee only, levy (if applicable) must be paid along with premium.
• We can only accept cheques issued by policyowner or the insured.
• For bank draft with premium payment above USD30,000 (or HKD equivalent) per policy, one should sign a "Payment Declaration Form – Bank draft" or provide valid bank receipt to prove that the bank draft is purchased by the policyowner/ insured; for premium payment above USD150,000 (applicable for new policy) or above USD300,000 (applicable for renewal policy) or HKD equivalent, a valid bank receipt must be provided.
• To meet the regulatory requirements, if you make a cash transaction of HKD120,000 or above (or USD equivalent) at any Banks, you need to show your ID card and sign the deposit slip to allow the bank to transfer the information to us.
• Please keep the deposit advice for your record.
• Please make the payment in advance of the due date, as it takes 3 working days to process the payment.
• Banks may collect transaction fees from the customers, please contact relevant banks for details.
