AIA Foundation is donating a total of 10,000 Health Protection Kits to 5,000 less privileged families in Eastern District to fight against the Novel Coronavirus with Hong Kong people. The kits, which include face masks, alcohol-based hand sanitiser, hand sanitising wipes and cooking oil or rice, provide the families with virus-preventive essentials and staple food items. To encourage sustainable efforts from corporations to support less privileged in our community, the Foundation is giving out the kits to the families in need twice within this month.
Mr. Peter Crewe, Chief Executive Officer of AIA Hong Kong & Macau and Director of AIA Foundation said: "AIA Hong Kong shares a close bond with Hong Kong people and has been dedicated to fulfilling our long-term commitment to the local economy and community. By donating the Health Protection Kits through the AIA Foundation, we hope to relieve the burden of those in dire need and show our support during this testing time, while demonstrating our brand promise of helping people live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.
