The Training Centre marks a new milestone for AIA Hong Kong in achieving digitalisation in agency force training, while elevating financial planners' professionalism and productivity to set a new industry benchmark in offering quality training.

Mr. Jim Jan Zen, Chief Agency Officer, Agency Distribution of AIA Hong Kong & Macau, said, “As digital technology becomes an essential part of customers' lives, the general trend sees the insurance industry integrating advanced technology into their business. AIA Hong Kong has therefore invested substantial resources into developing and driving the digitalisation of training, enhancing our facilities and curriculum with more variety and interactive elements. Coupling digital technology with professional talent is one of AIA Hong Kong's key undertakings to achieve long-term successful development. We will continue to provide our financial planners with more comprehensive training and support, and nurture more professional and high-calibre talent for the industry to further enhance customer experience.”

The digitalised AIA Hong Kong Training Centre can accommodate 600 financial planners. The paperless eLearning system is eco-friendly and can save around 600,000 pieces of paper, or the equivalent of 75 trees each year.

iClassroom Digital Classroom:

  • The learning platform is equipped with over 200 iPads to deliver course content via the eLearning system. Trainers can centrally control the trainees' iPads to better understand their learning progress and adjust the overall learning pace accordingly.
  • Equipped with six Tablet Management Cart devices to simultaneously recharge and install application updates on all iPads.

iAcademy and iMO Role Play eLearning System:

  • Offers over 260 online training programmes delivered in different formats such as videos, interactive presentations and assessments, so financial planners can learn and enhance their knowledge at their own convenience anytime, anywhere.
  • Financial planners can also use the Role Play function in iMO (Interactive Mobile Office) to practice their presentation skills and share their practice clips with supervisors for feedback any time.

In addition, AIA Hong Kong is the first insurer in town to bring in five sets of the Surface Hub solution from Microsoft Hong Kong. Specially designed for team collaboration, the solution enables meeting participants from different locations to interact and share ideas with each other on the same online platform in real time, thus increases training and work efficiency.
