- AIA Hong Kong & Macau was alerted on 5 August 2026 to a fraudulent SMS sent under AIA's name. The message impersonated Blue Cross and attempted to deceive customers into calling a fraudulent hotline to cancel an automatic policy renewal. For the detailed list, please refer to the list of reported fraudulent SMS.We want to emphasise that the mentioned SMS is not owned, operated, or endorsed by AIA Hong Kong & Macau. We take this matter very seriously and have already reported it to the police and/or relevant department. We are actively coordinating with relevant law enforcement and regulatory authorities for further investigations.
