What you need to know?

  • The discount is for hotel accommodation only.
  • The discount applies to a maximum of 4 bookings per membership year.
  • The discount will be applied on the first HKD2,000 of first room of each booking. The discount percentage is based on your AIA Vitality membership status at the time of booking.
  •  The discount will be based on the AIA Vitality member status at time of booking. Please refer to below table:

  • The discount only applies to bookings made via the AIA Vitality & Expedia co-branded website (any booking made directly through the Expedia website is not eligible for the discount).
  • The discount only applies if the "Pay now" option is chosen. If the "Pay at property" option is chosen, the discount will not be applied.
  • The discount can only be applied at the "Secure booking – only takes 2 minutes!". Please remember to click "Use a coupon, credit or promotion code" to generate the promotion code and then click "Apply" before payment. All prices shown before are pre-discount prices.
  • Any complimentary amenities and services (e.g. Wi-Fi, breakfast) that come with a room will be listed on the AIA Vitality & Expedia co-branded website.
  • Any AIA Vitality booking limits not used will not carry over to the next AIA Vitality membership year.
  • The discount does not apply to multi-room bookings. The discount code may only be used in relation to the first room booked on an eligible single booking. This means that where the eligible booking includes more than one room, the discount will only be applied against the first room in booking.
  • The discount does not apply to taxes and fees, cancellation or change penalties, administrative fees or other miscellaneous charges.
  • The discount cannot be combined with any Expedia loyalty program (Expedia Rewards).
  • The discount will not apply to any flight bookings, car rental bookings or package bookings.
  • No AIA Vitality discount will be offered if you click through any affiliate marketing link during the booking process.
  • Important note on cashback refund application and payment:
    • Please email your hotel stay details (include: AIA Vitality Membership No., Hotel Booking Confirmation with date and
    • Length of stay, and Official Invoice) to hk.vitality@aia.com.
    • Approved cashback refund will only be paid after you have completed the said hotel stay.
    • Applicable bank charges may be applied by your bank for processing your cashback.

Terms and conditions

  1. Eligibility:
    1. You must have an active AIA Vitality membership at the time of booking to make use of this discount.
  2. Benefit details:
    1. You have access to 4 Vitality discounted bookings on the first HKD2,000 of the first room of each booking. The discount percentage is based on your AIA Vitality membership status per membership year. To view the available number of discounted bookings you have, visit the Expedia page under “Partner Benefits” via AIA+ mobile app.
    2. You must use your discounted bookings in the same AIA Vitality membership year in which you earned them. They do not carry over to the following membership year.
  3. Using your Vitality Discount:
    1. Your AIA Vitality membership status at the time of booking determines your discount.
    2. The AIA Vitality member must be one of the travellers making use of this booking and the booking must be in their name.
    3. Your Vitality discount cannot be combined with the Expedia loyalty program (Expedia Rewards). You will not earn rewards nor be able to spend rewards as part of this booking.
    4. You must choose “Pay now” when completing your booking on Expedia. You will not qualify for the discount if you choose “Pay at property”.
  4. Cancelling your Vitality discounted booking:
    1. Cancellations are subject to the rules of the hotel booked, members will be notified of the specific hotel cancellation rule when making their booking.
    2. Penalties may apply if you cancel your booking, subject to terms & conditions. Any penalties will be calculated on the full price of your booking, before the Vitality discount. Qualifying refunds will take up to 14 working days to process.
    3. If you cancel your entire booking, your Vitality benefit discount bookings will only be reinstated if the booking was refundable. It will take up to 14 working days to reinstate the discount booking. Should the reinstated Vitality discounted bookings yet to complete within the same membership year, that will be treated as unused credit(s) and will not carry forward to the next AIA Vitality membership year. Partial cancellations (of a room in a booking) may result in a refund but your Vitality discounted bookings will not be reinstated.
    4. All cancellations must be made on the Expedia website.
  5. General Terms:
    1. By making use of this benefit, you indicate your full agreement to these Terms. Any changes to these terms will be communicated to you in accordance with the AIA Vitality Membership Terms and Conditions that you have accepted on initiation of your AIA Vitality Membership.
    2. By participating in the benefit, you agree to release and hold the benefit partners, their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of your participation in the benefit.
    3. The discount code cannot be used for any booking already made. It will be deemed fully redeemed once a qualifying booking has been made. The discount code has no cash value and no refunds or cash alternative will be offered. There is no residual value and, therefore, no credit will be issued if the purchase amount is less than the discount code discount. The discount code may not be re-used, even in the event that you change or cancel the booking.
    4. The discount code is void where prohibited by law and may only be used by the intended recipient who must be a legal resident of Hong Kong aged 18 and over.
    5. Improper use of the discount code by you, including, but not limited to, publication or selling of the discount code, is prohibited, will result in the voiding of the discount codes use, and may constitute fraud.
    6. This discount code may not be transferred or sold. Discount codes obtained through unauthorized channels, mutilated, altered, copied, forged, damaged, manipulated, or tampered with in any way will be deemed void.
    7. Expedia reserves the right to change or withdraw this offer at any time and to cancel any bookings made where the discount was improperly obtained or used to make any speculative, false, or fraudulent bookings.
