For workouts tracked using Polar

You can earn up to 15,000 AIA Vitality Points for all fitness-related activities (including gym workouts, fitness device tracking and organised fitness events). Once you have linked your device to AIA Vitality, points take up to 2 weeks to show on your AIA Vitality Points Statement.

The table below shows the number of points you earn when you exercise at the required heart rate with Polar. If your heart rate data is not available, we will award you points based on how much energy you use when you exercise i.e. the average speed of your exercise.

You may earn points if we have suggested a personal Health Goal within this range.

A maximum of 100 points will be awarded for one download a day. If you complete two fitness activities in one day, then the higher points between the two will be awarded.
 
Example: John buys a fitness device that can be linked to AIA Vitality. His device collects step data. John takes part in a minimum of 30 minutes of physical activity in one exercise session. He exercises at an average heart rate of more than 60% of his age-related maximum heart rate, and takes 7,500 steps. He uploads his exercise data to AIA Vitality. This event qualifies for 50 points.
 
On the same day John also completed a marathon and submitted the information of this organised fitness event to AIA Vitality, This event qualifies for 1,500 points.
 
John will earn 1,500 points for the day for the marathon i.e. the higher of the two above events.
