Bonus calculation and distribution: (i) The Bonus will be distributed by January 2028 according to the eligible member's latest investment mandate. (ii) The Bonus amount will be calculated based on the aggregated newly transferred-in MPF asset from other trustees that are fully settled during 1 October to 31 December 2026, provided that no withdrawal is made from 1 October 2026 up to the Bonus distribution date in January 2028. (iii) The Bonus will be allocated/credited to your account in the form of a unit/amount rebate4 and in accordance with your latest investment mandate as at the date of Bonus distribution.
 
Terms and conditions:
1. Upon successful enrolment into the MPFPA and TVC, members will be bound by all of the terms and conditions of the MPFPA and TVC as stated in the application form.
2. The Bonus is only applicable if the member's account remains active on the Bonus distribution date.
3. These offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other pre-existing offer(s).
4. For MPF funds (other than the Guaranteed Portfolio), which are unitised funds, the Bonus will be allocated in the form of units. For the Guaranteed Portfolio, which is not a unitised fund, the Bonus will be credited as a cash amount.

Employee Choice Arrangement ("ECA")

Once a year, you can switch a portion of your mandatory contributions to an MPF provider of your choice.

Types of accrued benefits transferable under ECA:

  • Employer portion under current employment - Non-transferable
  • Employee portion under current employment - Transferable once a year
  • All from former employment or self-employment - Transferable at any time

  1. Except for Guaranteed Portfolio which participants are permitted to raise only one switch request out of this fund to other fund(s) within the same scheme year.
  2. "ECA benefits" means the transferrable accrued benefits under the Employee Choice Arrangement (the "ECA") i.e., the accrued benefits derived from the employee's mandatory contributions during current employment and/or the mandatory contributions from former employment in contribution account.
