When applying for a driving licence, ensure you submit the correct form to the Transport Department: TD63A for direct issue of a full driving licence or TD181 for a temporary driving licence. The validity of a full driving licence can be up to 10 years. Please also note that it should be renewed within 4 months prior to the date of expiry or within 3 years from the date of expiry.
