How to Hire a Foreign Domestic Helper in Hong Kong

In Hong Kong, foreign domestic helpers have become an indispensable source of daily support for many families. Full-time helpers significantly alleviate the pressure on dual-income households.

You must apply for a work visa for your helper through the Hong Kong Immigration Department and sign a Standard Employment Contract for a two-year period with no probation period. The helper must reside in the employer's home and is only responsible for domestic duties within the employer's residence.
