Ting Kok Road Golf Course, Tai Po

Plover Cove Golf Club (PCGC) 9 is one of Hong Kong's key upcoming golf development projects. Located on Ting Kok Road in Tai Po, the project revitalizes the previously overlooked Plover Cove landfill site into an 18-hole championship golf course spanning approximately 53 hectares.
 
The course is designed by the internationally renowned Fry / Straka design team. It plays to a par of 71 and stretches over 6,600 yards, with approximately 28 meters of elevation change and strategically designed Links-like rolling fairways, the course combines visual appeal with technical challenges. Hole 12 is especially notable, often described as a "postcard" hole, offering panoramic views of Tolo Harbour and the surrounding area.
 
To ensure high-quality playing conditions year-round, PCGC incorporates premium Zoysia grass, comparable to that used at Augusta National Golf Club, along with an underground soil moisture management system. The club's facilities include a seafront clubhouse, dining and leisure spaces, a swimming pool, and a spa center. In addition, a Central experience center provides professional putting practice areas and indoor golf simulators, allowing golfers and families to preview the course's future features and lifestyle atmosphere 10 .

Hong Kong Golf Courses FAQ

Beginners are advised to make reservations by submitting the designated application form (Form No. LCS 189) together with the equipment request form 11. Under the latest booking arrangements, individual hirers may reserve up to 2 hours per day during both peak and non-peak periods 12.
