British research firm Henley & Partners has released the '2025 World’s Wealthiest Cities Report.' New York takes the top spot as the world's wealthiest city, boasting 380,000 millionaires (individuals with US$1 million or more in liquid investable wealth). Hong Kong ranks 8th, with a millionaire population of 150,000¹.

The report also analyzes the growth in the number of US dollar millionaires in major cities over the past decade. Shenzhen recorded a growth rate of 142%, the highest in the world. Within the 'Top 50 Wealthiest Cities in the World' ranking, Shenzhen occupies 28th place, with 50,800 millionaires (individuals with liquid assets exceeding US$1 million).
