Legislative Council Member Gary Zhang Xinyu, who participated in the survey, suggested that in addition to providing short-term economic incentives, the government should focus on building a vibrant and diverse social atmosphere to encourage 'Hong Kong Drifters' to integrate into the local community1.

Zhuang Yonglin, the founder of the Young Expats Association, stated that these individuals are exactly the type of talent the business community is eager to import—particularly in e-commerce operations and innovation and technology (I&T).
